2024 Sponsorship Details
Dear Community Member,
As we turn the page on another successful year of Baseball and Softball in the Dover Area, it’s that time of year to start planning for our 2024 Spring and Fall seasons. To continue the growth and success of our program, we are reaching out to our local businesses for your support and partnership in our program.
Your participation not only enables us to continue providing a quality program which teaches teamwork, sportsmanship and physical development to our children here in the Dover Area, but we have restructured our platforms and partnership opportunities to include much more exposure to our Sponsors.
If you are unfamiliar with our program, Dover Diamond Sports is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization serving about 300 children per year. We are proud to offer Little League Baseball and Softball Programs for 4-16 year olds.
We are very proud of the direction our program is going and the overall growth over the past few years, but we need financial support in the form of donations and sponsorships to not only maintain our current operational needs but to put our future goals in motion. Some of these goals require approval from the school district, borough or township as our fields are owned by these entities.
Our future wish list includes:
· Provide updated training equipment for all divisions, such as hitting machines, screens and other training equipment to improve our players skills on the field and at the plate.
· Ability to start a concessions program
· Resurfacing of our fields to improve the safety and provide a better playing experience
· Dugouts - Immediate plan is to purchase pop-up tents, future plans include building dugouts
· Used mowers or four wheelers to prepare the fields more efficiently. Field prep must be done before and after each practice and game.
· Outfield Fencing - This would allow us to host some International Little League tournaments AND would allow for business banners to be proudly displayed in our outfields.
· At least one scoreboard. It would also help when hosting tournaments and provide another place for our sponsors to be recognized.
· Rent or Purchase a building to serve as a training facility for all DDS Players.
